Disney On Ice!

This past Friday night, Jerry, the girls and I went to Disney on Ice with some of our closest friends and their girls.  Basically, it is a bunch of Disney characters on ice skates that tell a few of many of the Disney stories.  We had such a fabulous time! 

 To start out the evening, we enjoyed some yummy Zestos.  It is this little chicken place that also serves great ice cream.  Since we were in a rush, we did not get to enjoy any ice cream, but the food was good!

Next up, we went to the Colonial Center to enjoy some princess fun!  The girls all wanted to wear either their princess dresses, Minnie outfits or tiarra's so that they could meet "Real Live Princesses!"  

I was not sure how Emelia would do because she typically goes to bed between 7-7:30pm.  The show began at 7pm.  She did GREAT the first hour.  When the ice skaters first came out, she began getting SO excited!  She would point towards the skating rink and clap her hands and say "Minnie Mouse." There was a lot of giggling going on too.  After the intermission, Emelia began to get tired, so I took her behind where we were sitting to run off some tired energy.  It wasnt too difficult considering the show lasted two hours!

 












 Emma Kate was just mesmerized.  Her mouth literally hung open for a few minutes as she watched the princesses do all of their magic on skates.  I am amazed at how well these ice skaters were! 

After  we got into the car, Emma Kate said that she had so much fun and was so glad that she got to go and spend some time with her best friends.  She said, "It was fun, but it made me so tired."

We got home and everyone went to sleep!  What a fantastic night!
