Happy Easter!

The night before Easter, we dyed Easter eggs and Emma Kate had so much fun! We took our time doing that and after getting a bath and reading books, she did not get into bed until 10pm! That is laaaaate for our sweet girl.







Easter was a beautiful, yet hot, day! Emma Kate woke up extra early that morning. When she got up, the Easter bunny had placed eggs from her room leading up to her Easter basket and she said, "That Easter bunny made a mess." She got to the basket and was just thrilled! She wanted to eat all her candy at once.


After we got into the Easter basket, we got dressed and ready for church. Emma Kate put on her "spinning around dress" and headed off. We had a nice service at church and Emma Kate's class actually had more girls than boys in it this week! Yay!





After church, we enjoyed a great lunch at my mom and dads and then the kids all had a Easter egg hunt. It was cute to watch them all search for their eggs. Of course, my parents got her a basket and she loved it so much, that she immediately pulled her chocolate duck out and bit off his head.





There was not much time for a nap, so we then headed over to Jerry's parents house. We had dinner and Emma Kate got another Easter basket. I think we have enough candy to last us for a while!
