Snapshot!

I guess the reason I named this snapshot is because that is the first word that comes to mind when I think of a camera. I have lost my camera, so there wont be a snapshot in this post. Before you get upset, let me explain that my life is going through another one of its crazy roller coaster, spinning, twisty kind of themes, so I havent really looked that hard because I dont really have the time. Anyway, in order for us to keep up with Emma Kate even without the pictures, I thought it would be the perfect time to talk about the words that she is using. She is like a walking word machine, seriously.

cacker- cracker
mo, mo- more
mama- mama
dada- daddy
cook cook- cookie
bowl- ball
uh oh- uh oh
moatmeal- oatmeal
nana- banana
or nana- this is my nana
nonna- nonnie (my mom)
bubba- my brother jarrett
wa, wa- water
mow- meow
bell- isabelle (our dog)

It is actually pretty hilarious because she will walk up to me out of the blue, yell "cacker" and run to the pantry door. She just makes my day!


I know that there are more, but these are the ones that she uses the most. She also has been doing alot of other new things lately. For example, she has all four of her back molars that ALL came in at the SAME time; she runs, she puts some of her shapes into the shape sorter, she pushes her baby in her baby stroller, she will ride backwards on the push car that she has, she sings, she dances (has been for a while, but now swings her arms in addition to the leg bouncing) and is really communicating things to me! She has not had a bottle AT ALL since Valentine's Day weekend. I am so proud to call her my daughter. What a precious baby!
