Some of our friends, Shane and Amy, just had their second baby. We decided that it would be fun to take all the kids to Monkey Joes to let out some of their energy and to meet the new little Hamp.
Emma Kate was a little overwhelmed when we first got there. This was her first time at a place like this. She just kept staring at all the different places to jump. There were castles and even a special place for toddlers. Owen, Shane and Amy's firstborn, was so sweet. He took Emma Kate all around to show her where everything was. He would also help Emma Kate "climb" (he would sort of shove her up the ladders in a nice way) so that she could go down the big slides. She loved it!
We had such a good time. It was nice getting to share some new clothes with Hamp and getting to have some good couple time sharing with our friends. Shane and Amy had to leave so that Owen could go to Children's Choir at church. Cannot wait for Emma Kate to have opportunities like that.
